I need to stop forgetting how easy and fun gradients are. For this design I used Sally Hansen - Co-Bolt Blue, Sally Hansen - Celeb City and Sally Hansen - White On with a top coat of good ol' Seche Vite.
I had a really long day - A roller-coaster of emotions. So, I decided to take my frustrations out on my nails with 3 hours of nail therapy and tedious taping. Results? Worth it!
For my thumbs I used OPI Holland Dutch Treats Mini - Petal Faster Suzi. My index fingers have Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Bubblegum Pink. Both ring fingers have OPI Holland Dutch Treats Mini - Kiss Me on My Tulips. My ring fingers have a mix of Sally Hansen White On and Sally Hansen - Twisted Pink. Finally, my pinkies have Twisted Pink.
This is my first attempt at Vintage Roses and I am quite please with the results. I had already completed the stripes yesterday and wasn't quite sure where this design was going. After browsing my favorite lacqueristas I decided to try my hand at vintage roses and WHOA - It totally came out better than I expected!
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do to my nails so this is what I ended up with. I used China Glaze - Twenty-Four K, China Glaze - 5 Golden Rings, Sally Hansen - Twisted Pink and of course Seche Vite.
I had to capture this in the sunlight. Let me know what you think.
I thought I would add a brief tutorial on how I achieved my Surfboard mani. It's really simple and the possible color combinations are endless! Also, I am completely bored at work and all I have access to right now is Microsoft Paint (which is what I used to create this) which is why the quality isn't so nice.
I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear polish in these colors: Celeb City, Midnight Sky and Twisted Pink. The inspiration for these nails came from Nailside.
